Andre Rieu Australian & NZ Arena Tour

THE world’s most successful violinist and the Dutch King of Waltz Andre Rieu is returning to Australia with his orchestra next year.With a new album Roman Holiday released this month the maestro took this country by storm on his first visit in 2008.His spirited performances with the backing of his Johan Strauss Orchestra have helped him to sell 40 million CDs and DVDs and earning 400 Platimum Awards.

After his first visit he became the highest selling artist for three straight years. Speaking about the announcement Andre said Australia feels like a ‘second home’.

“I am so much looking forward to finally coming back to Australia after three years. I remember well the first time I performed in Australia, it felt like people were waiting for us to come for a long time and they gave us such a warm welcome,” he says. “I have never experienced that anywhere else and I can’t wait to see you all again 2016.”

Rieu will tour both Australia and New Zealand in October and November next year.
