CHAPPELL ROAN AUSTRALIAN TOUR 2026

Who is Chappell Roan?

Chappell Roan is the stage name for Kayleigh Rose Amstutz, one of the fresh new faces of the pop industry.

Originally from Willard, Missouri, her unique stage name is an ode to her late grandfather, with Chappell being his surname and Roan coming from the title of his favourite song, “The Strawberry Roan”. Aside from honouring her grandfather, it also ties in with her Midwest roots, which have also influenced her style and stage presence.

When she was 17, she posted her original song “Die Young” to YouTube, which garnered attention from music producers. She was later signed to Atlantic Records with her first EP, “School Nights”, coming out shortly after in 2017.

The singer, now 26, has a number of hits that have taken the music industry by storm with her hypnotic vocals and unique beats. Her look and music style have come a long way since then, too, with Chappell Roan stating that her stage presence is something she sees as drag, pairing perfectly with her stage name.
