Knotfest is a music festival established in 2012 by the American nu metal band Slipknot and their long-time manager, Cory Brennan, who is the CEO of 5B Artist Management. The festival has taken place as both a touring event and a destination gathering across various countries, including the United States, Canada, Japan, Germany, Mexico, Australia, Colombia, France, and Chile. Officially announced on June 4, 2012, Knotfest has quickly become a significant event in the rock and metal music landscape. Shawn "Clown" Crahan, a member of Slipknot, highlighted the festival's aim to deliver an immersive experience for fans, stating, "When everyone leaves, their senses will be overloaded." Knotfest has also expanded internationally, with events in Japan and plans to debut in the UK in 2020. Alongside live performances, Knotfest offers a pay-per-view streaming option, allowing fans unable to attend in person to enjoy the festival virtually.

Upcoming Knotfest Australia 2025

Knotfest, organized by Destroy All Lines and TEG and curated by Slipknot, is set to return to Australia in 2025. The festival will kick off on February 28 at Flemington Racecourse in Melbourne, continue at Brisbane Showground on March 2, and conclude at Centennial Park in Sydney on March 8.

This year's event will feature an updated Knotfest Museum, highlighting significant moments from Slipknot's 25-year journey.
