Alexander James O'Connor, known professionally as Rex Orange County, is an English singer and songwriter.

WHO CARES? is Rex’s first studio release since 2019’s Pony, the tour for which was cut short by COVID. The resulting quarantine eventually sent Rex to Amsterdam to record the new album, with Benny Sings, with whom he crafted the 2017 platinum selling breakout single ‘Loving is Easy’. The album also finds Rex reunited the artist who’s support led to his international breakthrough in 2017, Tyler, The Creator. Tyler contributes a verse to ‘OPEN A WINDOW’, marking the first time the two have collaborated since Tyler’s 2017 album Flower Boy, which saw Rex contribute on two tracks.

TOUR

Rex Orange County returns to Australia this spring. Kicking off Tuesday 19 September and running through Sunday 1 October, the run of Australian dates sees Rex performing across the country, making stops in Adelaide, Sydney and Melbourne as part of the Live in New Zealand, Australia and Asia Tour 2023. The tour marks Rex’s inaugural headline shows across Asia, and includes long awaited dates in some of his biggest streaming markets.
