SALUTE AUSTRALIAN AND NEW ZEALAND TOUR TICKETS 2025
All You Need To Know About Salute
Felix Angyumanu Nyajo, professionally known as Salute, is an Austrian producer based in England. They first gained prominence with remixes of Aaliyah's "Rock the Boat" and Sam Smith's "Money on My Mind." Salute has released several EPs, including *Gold Rush* and *Condition I-III*, as well as a mini-album titled *My Heart*. Their debut album, *True Magic*, was released in July 2024 and peaked at No. 5 on the UK Dance Albums Chart.
Born in Aspern to Nigerian parents who fled the Yugoslav Wars, Nyajo faced racism and violence during their childhood. They began making music on their parents' computer using a pirated version of FL Studio. Initially performing under the name "sxlute" on SoundCloud, their remix of "Rock the Boat" garnered media attention, leading to opportunities in DJing and production.
In 2014, Nyajo moved to Brighton for university to escape racism, eventually settling in Manchester. Following the death of their grandparents, they released a series of EPs that expressed personal memories and emotions. Their later projects, including the EP *Shield*, featured their own vocals and achieved chart success in the UK.
In 2023, Nyajo received a nomination for Best Electronic/Dance Act at the MOBO Awards. Their concept album, *True Magic*, which explores racing Japanese cars, includes collaborations with various artists and reflects their evolving musical style.
