Band Backgrond

The musical brainchild of talented musicians Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons, the Chemical Brothers began rocking the EDM scene in 1991, riding the electronic and rave scenes that were sweeping underground clubs across the world during the early and mid 90s. The duo built up a steady catalogue of hits and a reputation at nightclubs all across the UK in their early years, eventually dropping their debut album, Exit Planet Dust, in 1995, which would go on to become one of the most successful electronica releases of the year that catapulted the Chemical Brothers from a popular DJ duo to mainstream electro musicians. The duo rode the success of its debut for the next several years, playing some of the world's most esteemed music festivals and being regularly rated as one of the top DJ acts in existence. Their follow sophomore follow up would live up to all expectations, and the Chemical Brothers have since remained at the forefront of the EDM scene as they release a steady flow of new music every two to three years, with each new album redefining the modern electronica genre in their image. Today, the duo has put out nine full length LPs, and have become constant fixtures at music and festival events throughout every corner of the music loving world.
