Who is Greta Van Fleet?
Greta Van Fleet is an American band consisting of four members: twins Josh and Jake Kiszka, who created the band, along with their younger brother Sam and their friend Danny Wagner.
They started making music together back in 2012 while living in their hometown of Frankenmuth, Michigan. They got their big break in March 2017 when they got signed with Lava Records, later releasing their first EP, “Black Smoke Rising”, which featured their debut single, “Highway Tune”.
This iconic band combines an electrifying mix of hard rock, blues and progressive rock influences. It was Jake who originally heard the name Gretna Van Fleet, a fellow resident from their hometown of Frankenmuth. He loved it so much that he sought her out to seek her blessing to create a similar name for their band, which she agreed to.
