Jason Bonham is a highly regarded English drummer and the son of the legendary Led Zeppelin drummer, John Bonham. Born on 15 July 1966 in Dudley, England, he grew up immersed in rock music and has continued his father’s legacy through both his own work and by performing the music of Led Zeppelin.

He is best known as the founder and leader of Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Evening (JBLZE), a tribute show celebrating Led Zeppelin’s classic albums and milestones, including the 50th anniversary of Physical Graffiti. In addition to JBLZE, he has performed with a range of prominent acts such as Foreigner, Black Country Communion, his own band Bonham, and UFO, and has shared the stage with surviving members of Led Zeppelin at major reunions, most notably the 2007 Ahmet Ertegun Tribute Concert at London’s O2 Arena.

Celebrated for his powerful drumming, commanding stage presence, and ability to faithfully emulate his father’s style, Jason Bonham is widely recognised as one of the leading drummers of his generation, keeping the spirit and music of Led Zeppelin alive for both long-standing fans and new audiences.

Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Evening (JBLZE) will return to Australia and New Zealand on Sunday, 19 April 2026 at 8pm, concluding the world tour celebrating the 50th anniversary of Led Zeppelin’s seminal album, Physical Graffiti. The performance will feature the album in its entirety, alongside other iconic tracks such as Good Times Bad Times, Whole Lotta Love, and Stairway to Heaven. Fans can also expect deeper cuts including In The Light and Boogie With Stu, delivering a complete and powerful live experience for admirers of the legendary band. General public tickets go on sale from 10am, Friday 30 January 2026.

Reflecting on the tour, Jason Bonham described Physical Graffiti as “the ultimate Led Zeppelin record,” noting that the anniversary celebrations had grown from an initial plan of 50 shows to more than 80 worldwide. JBLZE’s previous tour of Australia and New Zealand received widespread acclaim, and this forthcoming performance is expected to continue that tradition with an electrifying live experience. The show has an approximate running time of two hours with no interval and is strictly for patrons aged 18 and over; babes in arms will not be admitted.
