These five festivals are leading the charge with lineups that promise unforgettable weekends.

1. Good Things Festival | December 5–7 (Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane)

Good Things returns with a monster bill. Tool, Weezer, and Garbage headline alongside All Time Low, Machine Head, Knocked Loose, Lorna Shore, Refused, and New Found Glory. Add in Fever 333, GWAR, and local stars like James Reyne and Wargasm, and it’s a celebration of rock in all its forms.

2. Harvest Rock Festival | October 25–26 (Adelaide)

After a year away, Harvest Rock is back with The Strokes, The War on Drugs, Vance Joy, M.I.A., Wolfmother, The Presets, and Genesis Owusu on Saturday. Sunday brings Jelly Roll, plus Groove Armada, PNAU, Shaboozey, and more, blending music with fine food, wine, and arts.

3. Spilt Milk Festival | December (Ballarat, Canberra, Gold Coast, Perth)

Spilt Milk makes its comeback with Kendrick Lamar and Doechii topping the bill. They’re joined by Dominic Fike, ScHoolboy Q, d4vd, Nessa Barrett, and local acts The Rions and South Summit.

4. Overtone Festival | October 12 (Gold Coast)

Debuting at Musgrave Park, Overtone delivers a boutique electronic experience. The lineup includes Floating Points, 1TBSP, IN2STELLAR, Mikalah, and a standout back-to-back set from INVT and Skee Mask.

5. Strummingbird Festival | Oct–Nov (Sunshine Coast, Newcastle, Perth)

Strummingbird launches with Jelly Roll, Shaboozey, and Treaty Oak Revival alongside James Johnston, Kaylee Bell, Julia Cole, and local favorites like The Dreggs and Rachael Fahim. Beyond the music, expect line dancing, bull rides, and acoustic sessions for a full country-inspired experience.
