Who is The Fray?
The Fray is a rock band from Denver, Colorado, celebrated for their emotive lyrics, soaring melodies, and piano-driven sound. Formed in 2002 by schoolmates Isaac Slade (vocals, piano) and Joe King (guitar, vocals), the band quickly gained recognition for their deeply personal songwriting and anthemic choruses. Their 2005 debut album, How to Save a Life, launched them to global fame, featuring iconic hits like How to Save a Life and Over My Head (Cable Car)—songs that defined the 2000s and earned the band Grammy nominations and a dedicated following.
Following their breakthrough, The Fray continued to captivate audiences with albums such as The Fray (2009), Scars & Stories (2012), and Helios (2014). Chart-topping tracks like You Found Me and Never Say Never further solidified their success, while their raw, emotionally charged performances made them a must-see live act. With a sound that blends alternative rock and introspective storytelling, The Fray remains one of the most influential bands of their era, creating music that continues to resonate with fans worldwide.Top 3 The Fray Songs
