Sum 41 is a Canadian rock band from Ajax, Ontario, formed in 1996. The current lineup features Deryck Whibley (lead vocals, guitar), Dave Baksh (lead guitar), Jason McCaslin (bass), Tom Thacker (guitar, keyboards), and Frank Zummo (drums). They signed with Island Records in 1999 and released their first EP, *Half Hour of Power*, in 2000.
